Eileen Murphy (b. 28 May 1911) — what happened to her between 1924 and JJM Sr's 1938 death? Not on the 1938 JJM Sr obit's surviving-children list. Most plausibly predeceased; worth a Montana Standard 1924-1938 obituary search for an Eileen Murphy of Butte.
Frances Murphy (b. 22 Jan 1924) — = "Dahl" of the 1938 obit (with Dahl as middle name)? Or a separate child? Resolution needs the original 1938 obit text re-read OR a Frances Murphy LA marriage / death record.
Settled: the wife of JJM Sr here is the Agnes Kelly of the 1908 St. Lawrence wedding (daughter of Mary Chatham Kelly). The 1927-d. James J. Murphy's widow was a different Mrs. Agnes Murphy. Bare "Mrs. Agnes Murphy" mentions in Butte 1908-1938 still need household context (2745 State and these children vs. 79 Missoula avenue and sons Vincent, Francis, Emmet, James, Paul, William) to tell the two wives apart.
