Summary
Genealogy of the O'Sullivan family of Reenavaude North — parents of **Paddy (Tailor) O'Sullivan** who married Kate Murphy of Ballycrovane (= the central Hyp B "sibling-web" marriage; see [[_annals-of-beara-vol-ii-p270-seamus-mor-family-and-paddy-tailor-osullivan]]). **Sean (Philib) O'Sullivan**: tailor; born Ballinacarriga, Garnish; his own father Philip O'Sullivan was a tailor from Waterford. Sean came "cliamhain isteach" to Nora Rahilly in Reenavaude North (same Irish "marry-into-wife's-family" pattern as our Pat marrying into Ellen Lyne's Ardgroom Village house). Brother Mort Philib also from Ballinacarriga; married Honora O'Sullivan in Pulleen Ardgroom Inward. **Sean + Nora Rahilly had 8 children**: - (1) Mary → m. Darby Leahy of Reenavaude - (2) **Jack → Butte, Montana** - (3) **Paddy ("Paddy Tailor") → Butte, Montana, returned, settled Ardgroom Village, married Kate Murphy of Ballycrovane** - (4) Philip (Apr 1847) → Reenavaude (Tim Murphy's farm later), m. Nora O'Sullivan, Philip's family went to Butte - (5) Ellen (June 1857) → m. Jim (Crohur) O'Shea - (6) **Danny (Apr 1860) → Butte, Montana** - (7) Nora (July 1863) → m. Jar Riney in Pallace - (8) Dan (Nov 1866) — twice in Butte; settled home farm; m. Mary O'Sullivan of Ballinacarriga **Four of eight Sean+Norry children went to Butte** — major data point for the Reenavaude-to-Butte migration chain that precedes and parallels our Murphy family arc. Paddy Tailor's stay in Butte (item 3) overlaps with our Pat's first decade there. The two men knew each other in Butte and either both returned to Ardgroom (Paddy did) or exchanged news through their respective Murphy connections (Paddy married Kate Murphy of Ballycrovane = our Pat's sister under Hyp B = his cousin under Hyp A). Either way, this is the "sibling-web" page that anchors the Paddy-Tailor ↔ Pat connection.
